All other areas of learning

Please have a look at the classes page for your child's year group to see what the topics that the children will be learning about this term.
We value the importance of experience and discussion as part of a primary age child's development and so we suggest that all children will benefit from experiencing the many museums, galleries, buildings and parks available in London.
Sleep is an essential component to enabling children to achieve their learning potential. Quantity and quality of sleep have a profound impact on memory and learning, so please ensure your child has a good night's sleep.
Creative activities at home for all ages are also offer important learning opportunities.
Ideas might include:
  • junk modelling;
  • cooking;
  • drawing and painting activities;
  • cutting and sticking activities; and
  • science experiments.
There are many educational experiences that children can have on a computer or tablet, where they are able to use their imagination and creativity. Some ideas are:
ChatterPix - where you can take a photo and make the photo talk. You may want to take a photo of one of your own creations - drawing, sculpture, science experiment - to make that talk.
Stop Motion animation - where you can create your own mini-film.
PicCollage Kids - where you can create a poster/design of your choosing.
Any work that your child does at home can be brought into school where it will be celebrated, but it will not be marked.
Here are some websites that you may wish to encourage your child to use in order to practise their learning from class. Educational/Learning Links. (Please note that sites will open in a browser window.)
