At William Tyndale we love CREATIVE science. We believe that science should be Child-Led, Real-World, Enquiry-Based, Active, Talking, Inspiring, Varied and Exciting!

We also place a strong emphasis on learning in the outdoor classroom and all children work with our environmental educator, Tiffany, once per half term. They help to maintain our growing and wildlife gardens and learn through hands-on experience. All year groups prepare and make healthy dishes based on the food they have grown and harvested themselves, which oncludes fruit and vegetables. The children share them, take them home and even donate their leftover ingredients to the kitchen!

Our Eco Team takes care of our environment both indoor and out, with energy monitors, litter pickers, watering, harvesting and composting.

We are excited by meeting scientists both in school and on trips and we love finding out about new technologies such as drones!
